Dismal and Lonesome she tread,
Washed in the taciturn twilight
The azure waters halted her steps.
A girl lost in the blues of her life
Stared back at her , with –
Rueful eyes welled with
Yearnings for the golden hues of LOVE…
As limbs of night melted in ,
She mused:
“ Is
this the same depths which
Swallowed
up the high soaring Icarus”
Her life flashd across her mind –
As if in a a
daze….
Those lingering gazes, words of love ,
Solace of his embrace and the blaze
Of passion which ran a havoc
In their
veins……
Asif in a trance she stooped and picked a
Deflowered Weed………..
Gone was he now , as if with the wind..
A step she took closer to the engulfing mouth, and
In tossed the defowered weed
As If to test the forlorn depths…
A petite foot kicked on her maternal wall
Lurching her back
A tinge of hope hopped along her ,as,
The salty savored tears joined
The sweetness of motherhood
Turned she did, back to her trodden trail,
With a solitary new moon
Shining abright in a dark firmament…………..
